There are many wonderful charitable organizations doing amazing things in Eastern Iowa. In addition to monetary donations, most accept in-kind donations that stay right here in our community.
We all have great intentions to donate our gently used items to those in need, but sometimes it can be hard to determine which organizations take which things. Since clothing is 95% of what we receive for consignment, we have been on the hunt for all of the local organizations specifically in need of clothing.
Here’s what we’ve found as of late fall/early winter 2023. This is by no means an exhaustive list, please let us know other organizations you’re familiar with so we can add them to the list!
